Who is that in the mirror?

Psalm 138:2
I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.

The Apostle Paul asked: Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?

So as we look in the mirror today, who do we see? Do we see the temple of God? Or do we see a condemned body of sin? Think about it, the answer will direct our lives every day.

Then as you walk out of your house and you see your brother or sister in Christ. Do you see the temple of God or do you see someone who can be at odds with you?

This all makes me think how Jesus' words are intricately weaved throughout the Bible. After all, he is the word. When Jesus spoke about the two commandments which fulfill all of the law and the prophets, he undoubtedly touched on todays verse.

If you love your God with all your heart, strength and mind then you will honor His temple (your body). And when you realize that other brothers and sisters in Christ (the Church) are also the temple of God, it should compel us to love them as we do ourselves.
