Whatever he says, do it!

Psalm 119:60
I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.

When we hear the voice of God tell us to do something that we don't want to do we often think we can arm wrestle Him. Teenagers have a tendency to want to negotiate or delay every command from their parents. Now that we are raising our fourth teen, its no different than the last three.

I'm sure we are not much different to God. He tells us to do something and we want to rationalize it, negotiate it and stall the inevitable. Minutes, hours, days or even years later we realize the wisdom of the command and we begin to count our losses. When will we learn???

We should take lesson from the very first miracle that Jesus did. His mother said to the wine stewards, "whatever he says, do it!" That's the attitude we should have in our everyday life.

With prayer and obedience we will accomplish much!
