What brand is your battery pack?

Colossians 2:9-10
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.

I recently watched the movie Iron Man and was intrigued by the idea of the small power pack he constructed. No bigger than a can of tuna fish this power pack allowed him to fly to outer space among many other fantastic things. What would be better than that?

How about the power that instantly transported Philip miles away from the Egyptian eunuch? What about the power that allowed Peter to walk on water, even for a moment? How about the power that resurected the Son of God?

But we are so consumed with becoming Iron Man that we miss the power of El Shaddai, the Almighty God! We are so dazzled by man-made power, we could be staring at the beauty of a huge mountain and miss the power that created it. Don't we realize we are rejecting the very source of our salvation.? Instead we search all over for power that is hell bent on our destruction!

Jesus said, "tell them the Kingdom of God is at hand." In other words, the power of the all mighty God is at hand, the power of the creator is in us. Do inventory on your own power pack. Is it man-made or is it God?
