By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me -- a prayer to the God of my life.
I remember when my oldest child was a baby. When he was cranky at night I would sing "Mary had a little lamb" and that would instantly make him feel better with a smile.
Had a rough day? Nothing like God's words in a song to calm you down and give you assurance that his hands are holding you and protecting you.

Your either up early or bloging late, glad to see the pages match the date. Sometimes it does seem we get ahead or behind yet the Lord always balances it out and he sings in such a soft voice sometimes that we need to quiet ourselves in order to hear!
It's been tough this week because I am now working! I just have to get back into the routine of knocking out each message in the morning.
I get up at 5am to go to work and sometimes its 11 at night and I haven't written my message for the day.
i remain committed to write a message for each day, I'm just have a little lag right now, prsy for God to give me strength and resolve to stick to it!
