I am glad you are doing what you are doing...

1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Many of the people that I send this to call me or email back with encouragement from day to day. I also know that many of you are actively encouraging and building up one another. This is what being a Christian is all about!

One day we all figured out that we had to die to self and live to bless others. In doing so, we live as the hands of God. I heard a preacher last night say, the face of God is Jesus but the hands of God is the church. That is so true!

We can pray all we want for God to do something for us. Ultimately, it is the hands of the saints that will deliver God's blessing to others.

So I thank God that he is mobilizing his church to do great things. Despite the fact that we live in a day that selfish nature is well accepted, there is a group of us that are called out to be different and live to encourage one another and build each other up.
