1 Chronicles 29:11
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.
I just love how the Bible is wonderfuly weaved. The fact that the Word is Jesus is evident in this verse because when he crafted the Lord's Prayer he surely ended it with this verse in mind.
It's your kindom, your power and your glory forever and ever amen.
I'm also reminded of all the great songs and hyms that tap into this truth. Songs like "How great thou art" and "How great is our God" instantly prompt us to recognize his greatness and love for us.
I'm simply in awe at how great he is yet he will travel across the world in a split second to come whisper in our ears with a small still voice. How great is that! With all the things he has to tend to he still loves us so much to be right by our side and have a personal relationship with us.
Have you thanked Him today?
