Whenever I read or hear this verse I can't help but think of my dear friend George Jowi. George is from Kenya and there was a time in his life when this verse was the furthest thing from his reality. Over 60 of his childhood friends never made it past their teens. But God had a plan for him.
Today, he is in Dallas going through a master's program and is a living personification of this verse. He came to San Antonio an gave his testimony. I urge you to listen to his great message, it brings this verse to life.
